What are Unnumbered Entities?

Unnumbered entities are, for various reasons, beings that cannot be classified using our conventional numbering system. Whether it be due to a numbered classification being nonsensical for the entity, or because a number isn't necessary or warranted, these creatures fall outside the usual boxes which the entities we live amongst fall into.

Outside of the lore:

Unnumbered entities are similar to unnumbered levels in that they can be unnumbered for a plethora of different reasons! A numbering can simply not make sense, or have deeper lore implications. Unnumbered entities typically highlight things beyond the knowledge and limits of the Backrooms residents.
