What are Sublevels?

Sublevels are deeper hells within this already tortorous landscape. Typically more dangerous than their parent levels, sublevels are deeper layers and sections within levels that are distinct enough to require their own classification and documentation. Sublevels can range from being almost indistinguishable from their source to only being connected through entrances and potential exits. There are no true ways of knowing what you will get yourself into as you explore further into this landscape.

Outside of the lore:

Sublevels are separate, distinct portions of another level! Some sublevels are similar in nature to their parent levels, while others may be entirely different! Imagination is the limit with these, as long as they can reasonably connect back to their source.
