What are Unnumbered Levels?

Unnumbered levels are areas of the Backrooms that simply cannot be catalogued using our usual classifications. Whether it be because they span multiple sections that could constitute as levels, their danger and importance needing to be highlighted, or because they present as if they are from a realm of their own, these sections within the Backrooms need their own special category separate from our conventional system.

Outside of the lore:

Unnumbered levels can be unnumbered for any variety of reasons! It can simply be nonsensical to attempt to do so within the writing of the level, or for other reasons such as it's span or even how the level itself is written. Unnumbered levels are special and highlight that even for as much as certain groups and people understand of the Backrooms, there's still more that simply cannot be contained within their knowledge.
